How Nova compares.
Honest read. We lose on years-in-market. We win on suggestions that show their math and on confidence-banded valuations. Kubera also models entities, but only on Kubera Black at $2,500/year — Nova is $150/year for the multi-entity structure (ownership and nesting). Everything else is table stakes.

Multi-entity native (you + LLC + trust separate) Kubera supports this with ownership tags and nested per-entity portfolios. Monarch Plus tracks business entities for pass-through owners (sole proprietors, single-member LLCs, rentals) with per-entity filters and P&L; we found no support for entities that own other entities by percentage. Copilot and Empower don't model entities. | |||||

Kubera Black buys more than the entity features: hands-on onboarding, Zoom support and a product with years in market. If those matter to you, it may be worth the difference. Kubera prices and features from kubera.com, checked October 4, 2026.
Where we lose
Kubera has years of polish and a mature import pipeline. Monarch has a real iOS app and a budgeting community. Copilot has design taste and an audience that already paid. Empower has scale and a wealth-management arm if that's what you want.
Where we win
Nova is the only one that proposes specific moves with the math attached and exposes its reasoning. It matches Kubera on multi-entity structure at a fraction of Kubera Black's price. Built for people who think in spreadsheets but are tired of maintaining one.
